I joined the National Association for Proton Therapy (NAPT) as Director of Communications and Membership Relations in July 2021 bringing with me more than a decade’s experience in marketing, public relations, and member engagement. I have experience in omni-channel marketing, strategic communications, web design, digital campaign implementation, and association member management.
I served as the Director of Membership at the Jacksonville Zoo and most recently led communications at the North Florida School of Special Education. I have successfully orchestrated press conferences, have event planning proficiency, and enjoy building relationships with publications and individuals.
As the former Director of Community Relations at Ackerman Cancer Center, I have proton therapy and traditional radiation oncology expertise. Additionally, I formerly served on the Board of Directors of NAPT, actively involved in the Marketing and Operations committees.
I am currently a member of the Jacksonville American Marketing Association, Association of Fundraising Professionals First Coast Chapter and serves on the Conservation Board for the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. I consult with independent wildlife conservation organizations on key fundraising campaigns and volunteer with the Florida Fish & Wildlife's Marine Mammal Rescue Team.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of North Florida with an emphasis on Health Communications and Public Relations.
